We at Penfield are pleased to announce the launch of our new World of Warcraft reference service, starting this weekend. We know a lot of you are playing WoW when you should be working on your papers, so we'd like to meet you where you are. If you're on Eitrigg (and if you're not, it's not full, so you can create a new account there), add "Penfield" (the human priest) to your buddies list. Penfield (the WoW character, not the library) is staffed by a team of librarians who are equally skilled at answering reference questions and providing support for difficult quests. Since this is a pilot service, we are currently only offering it to Alliance players, but if there is enough demand, we'll start a Horde character as well.

You can usually find Penfield in the general vicinity of Stormwind. He will be holding regular office hours (times set apart just for reference questions) in the library of Northshire Abbey on weeknights from 11 pm to midnight. On weekends, starting tomorrow, he can usually be found grouping with patrons. Remember, the more you group with Penfield, the more advanced quests he will be able to support in the future. And don't worry, he can answer your reference questions without compromising his ability to cast healing spells. So give it a try, and then let us know what you think!
